Wayzgoose Reflections

We had a very busy weekend and now it's time to take a breath. Saturday saw a few thousand people - I'm SURE - come through the Grimsby Public Art Gallery halls.  Books, handmade paper, letterpress, the most fantastic paper arts e.v.e.r. and us with our workshop brochures. Visit the Grimsby Public Art Gallery's Facebook page to see tons of pictures.

BeetleBarrow had a table in the Carnegie building, decked with information and examples for all of our upcoming workshops in Hamilton, Beamsville, and Grimsby. We even had a slideshow of last summer's retreat to tempt!

My Little Beetle was there for a while, making a book that ended up in our examples of PaperPlay 2gether pocketbooks. That workshop is for kids and grown-ups to make a bunch of little books together in Beamsville at Creative Bug.

The book that got the most love and affection from folks was our vinyl - and by vinyl, I mean an honest-to-goodness record - coptic bound notebook.

You love it right? We love it too. You can make your own on Tuesday May, 21 at 6:00pm to 9:00pm with us at the Westdale Public Library in Hamilton at the Reclaimed Covers workshop.

Thanks everyone, it was fantastic to meet you!  Honk! Honk!
(I told myself not to do that, but I just couldn't resist)
